Our Program
Andrew Quinn
Mr. Quinn earned his Masters of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of South Dakota and received his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
At Mayfield, he directs the Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, and Jazz Bands. He also teaches a low incidence music class to 15 students.
Before arriving in New Mexico, he taught band and choir in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Colorado. He has participated and presented at several conferences including CMEA, MNMEA, and South Dakota Bandmaster’s Conference. He currently holds memberships in NMMEA, NAfME, CBDNA, and the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association.
Rose Verlinde

Rose Verlinde
Rose Verlinde has been the Assistant Band Director at Mayfield since January 2018. Prior to that, Ms. V held the position of music teacher at MacArthur Elementary School in Las Cruces. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s in Music Education and a minor in Secondary Math Education. Ms. Verlinde conducts the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, MPACT, Basketball Band, and assists with the Color guard, Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. Her professional affiliations include NAfME, NMMEA, the International Double Reed Society, and Mu Phi Epsilon.
