Juan Gonzales
Coach Gonzales graduated from UTEP in 2008, with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Special Education. He coached middle school Boys' basketball at Lynn Middle school for 6 years, from 2009 to 2014. From 2015-2017, Coach Gonzales became an Assistant Boys basketball coach at Mayfield HS under Coach Billy Keys. He became a Head Boys Basketball Coach at Gadsden HS from 2017-2020. While at Gadsden, coach Gonzales led his Panthers to back to back State Tournament appearances in 2019 and 2020. Coach Gonzales has one son, who he hopes falls in love with the game of Basketball as well. This is Coach Gonzales first year as the Boys Basketball head coach at Mayfield HS and is excited and working towards another State Tournament appearance at Mayfield. Go Trojans.
