My name is Peggy Raymond-Rubio and I teach World History, Student Government, and I am an AES Facilitator. Prior to joining LCPS, I was an Adjunct Instructor at DACC teaching the Business Program for four and half years. I have taught one year at Oñate and I am now in my fifth year of teaching at Mayfield. I have a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from NMSU, and a Bachelor of Science in Business & Management from the University of Maryland. I love teaching and I want to welcome each of you to Mayfield High School! You are about to begin one of the most exciting times in your life, and everyone in Mayfield wants to help you make your "Trojan Experience" safe, exciting, and memorable. Student government is a student lead council that instills leadership skills, leading students in community and school wide activities. Student government also promotes school spirit as well as a friendly and safe environment for all MHS faculty and students. Student Government Meetings are open to the student body.
