 SUMMER 2026 CATCHING CLINIC

At Memorial Medical Center, more than 40 high school summer interns have hit the ground running gaining hands-on experience in both clinical and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital and clinics.

We are proud of these partnerships that create meaningful internship opportunities for students at Las Cruces Public Schools, helping them explore careers they can envision for their future.

Through the New Mexico Summer Enrichment Internship Program run by Education at Work, Memorial Medical Center is hosting an eight-week program that offers paid, real-world work experience in government agencies, nonprofits, and private sector.

Thank you to our hospital leaders and team members who are mentoring students and supporting these invaluable on-the-job learning opportunities.

Flashback Friday: The 1987-1988 school year was a memorable one for the Mayfield High School Chorus All Staters. Through performances, competitions, and All-State recognition, these talented students represented Mayfield and Las Cruces with pride, sharing their voices across New Mexico and beyond.

This photo captures a moment in a long tradition of musical excellence that continues to thrive today. For generations, LCPS students have found opportunities to grow their talents, build confidence, and create lasting memories through the performing arts.

LCPS Families: ParentSquare, the communication platform used by Las Cruces Public Schools, is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Our Information Technology team is working to help restore service, but at this time the issue appears to be on the ParentSquare side.

Part of the outage is impacting absence notifications and other district communications. We will share more information as soon as it becomes available.
